Who we are
Vantage is a global natural chemistry company that creates, produces and sources high-end and tailored specialty chemicals and ingredients incorporated into everyday products that nourish, care, sustain and enhance performance. Back-integrated into natural oils and oleo chemistry, we use science to transform naturally-derived products by bringing technology from the lab into the global marketplace. Every day we are focused on implementing new ways our science and technology can help solve some of the world’s pressing challenges by applying specialized chemistry and formulations to each specific issue. Our extreme responsiveness to customer and market needs makes it possible to quickly scale adaptive innovations and rapidly bring revolutionary products to market.

What we do
We have dedicated ourselves to making life better through natural chemistry. Our robust portfolio of over 2,000 specially formulated solutions represent a broad spectrum of applications including: natural oils and glycerin, surfactants and esters, mold release systems and equipment solutions in food, and high-end bioactive ingredients and sensorial additives in personal care.

Vantage serves multiple key markets from four business units including: Oleochemicals, Performance Materials, Personal Care and Food. With a diverse portfolio and our deep expertise in these focus areas, Vantage provides a unique vision and distinctive point of view to help our customers unlock the power of science and nature.

Vantage™ Statement on California Transparency in Supply Chains Act

The California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010 (SB 657) is designed to increase the amount of information made available by manufacturers and retailers regarding their efforts to address the issue of slavery and human trafficking.
 
Vantage Specialty Chemicals, Inc. (“Vantage™”) is firmly against any form of forced labor, human trafficking and slavery. Vantage will not condone any type of this prohibited, unlawful conduct by its employees, suppliers, distributors, subcontractors, customers and other business partners.
 
Vantage is committed to conduct its business in an ethical and responsible manner that supports, respects and protects human rights and complies with international labor and social standards.
 
As we are dependent on a global supply chain, we aim to align ourselves and do business with suppliers and business partners who aspire to conduct their business in a similar manner.
 
We expect all suppliers and business partners to comply to all applicable laws and to adhere to internationally recognized environmental, social, and corporate governance standards.
 
Vantage will conduct training for its supply chain team on the topics of forced labor, child labor, human trafficking and slavery. This training will focus on mitigating risks within the supply chain of products.
